Job Summary: This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer at Ernst Planning Engineers in Kampala. The Interior Designer will be responsible for interior design, and selecting FF&E items to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Space Planning, Interior Design, and FF&E selection skills
- Experience in architecture and construction drawings
- Ability to conceptualize and create functional interior spaces
- Knowledge of furniture and materials for interior design
- Attention to detail and creativity in design solutions
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in Lumion, Archicad/SketchUp, or other design software
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in interior design
