Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a service schedule for electrical systems.
• Allocate work and monitor performance of plant-based electricians.
• Develop routine maintenance checklist for all electrical infrastructure and equipment.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for use and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Liaise with power distribution companies for supply of power; repairs of electrical lines; payment of electricity bills and any other related transactions.
• Perform surveys, prepare technical reports, read technical drawings and schematics, wiring diagrams, and design electrical installations.
• Overhaul and/or transfer electrical assets;
• Maintain electrical consumption records for all the group locations, and assist during the preparation of engineering budgets with inputs for electrical requirements and forecasts.
