JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for an energetic & dynamic Branch Manager who will report directly to the Branch Manager for the East Africa region and be based in our Kampala, Uganda offices. KONE East Africa is focused on growing its business presence in Uganda as a whole, and success here will play an integral part in the overall success of KONE East Africa
A Branch Manager focuses on creating customer trust, value, and loyalty. Hence, we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being someone who can drive success and unify a team. We need someone who can influence, is result-driven, and has strong commercial acumen. You will lead the team and foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members, as well as the appreciation of diversity, cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each team member to succeed.

What will you do?
• Hold overall accountability for customer satisfaction and drive business development across the region/branch.
• Ensure workplace safety, promoting a secure environment for all employees.
• Lead the implementation of new tools and development initiatives within the region/branch to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee planning and reporting for regional/branch business activities.
• Guarantee full compliance with KONE’s business policies, processes, and methods within the region.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with other regional units, branch managers, and members of the unit management team.
• Serve as the primary KONE representative to customers and other key stakeholders in the region/branch.
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer satisfaction and service.
• Actively participate in the frontline management team, representing regional needs and implementing decisions from regional management meetings.
• Lead, guide, and support the development and motivation of employees within the region/branch in partnership with People & Communications.
Are you the one?
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years experience in business management in sales and operational management with budget responsibility.
• Successful track record of developing and executing successful business strategies and plans at a branch manager/country manager / general manager level.
• Proven ability to achieve tangible business results.
• Solid operational and commercial business experience.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams and delegate.
• Strong business acumen, analytical, and creative thinking.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully working with cross-functional teams and matrix management.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, attentive to detail, and organized self-starter with an orientation toward a high level of customer service.
