The Role:
This is a freelance remote role for Africa Region. As a Data Collection Operations Coordinator, you will ultimately be responsible to ensure consistent levels of performance, excellent levels of compliance with respect to procedures, and successful delivery of the targeted sports coverage across the respective region.
Main Responsibilities
• Ensure overall network delivery with respect to established KPIs (i.e., coverage, data quality, compliance, etc.).
• Ownership of the resource and capacity planning for the network of statisticians. Provide assistance during the recruitment and onboarding process as needed.
• Ensure network availability for agreed due dates, and proactively communicate any obstacles or challenges.
• Ensure and maintain a high level of proactive statistician match applications. Monitor coverage scheduling and provide timely assistance.
• Ensure budget compliance with respectto travel, match tickets, and other expenses incurred by statisticians.
• Keep the statisticians informed about new procedures, policies, and updates. Conduct workshops/seminars when needed. Collect and provide feedback.
• On an ad hoc basis, oversee and manage scout spotting related activities.
• Participate in meetings with clients and commercial stakeholders on an ad-hoc basis.
• Oversee and manage the accreditation process.
• Cooperate with key operations stakeholders in cases when there is information needed, area of improvement, or ongoing investigation.
• Provide ideas and assistance for communication and content creation towards the Statistician Network.
Requirements
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

• Ability to deal with challenges and be efficient under pressure.
• Flexibility regarding working schedule.
• Data management skills and strong MS Office competence (PowerBI knowledge is a plus).
• Self-motivated, organized, and highly efficient personality.
• Results-oriented mentality.
• In-depth knowledge of Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and a variety of other sports.
