Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead the sales and marketing efforts for our client, a beverage manufacturing company, focusing on developing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive revenue growth, and expand market share. This role requires a dynamic individual with deep industry knowledge, creativity, and leadership skills to manage teams, collaborate across departments, and deliver on key performance indicators.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and business growth.
• Identify and explore new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets or product lines.

 

 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, retailers, and customers.

 

 

• Oversee pricing strategies, negotiations, and contracts to maximize profitability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales tactics as needed.
• Lead the development and execution of a robust marketing plan that includes digital, social media, and traditional marketing channels.
• Collaborate with product development teams to introduce new products to the market, including overseeing product launches.
• Create and manage promotional campaigns, events, and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and campaigns.
• Analyze market data and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies.
• Manage and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve individual and collective goals.
• Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Set clear KPIs and monitor team performance to ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
• Develop and manage the annual sales and marketing budget.
• Track expenditures to ensure all campaigns and initiatives are cost-effective and within the approved budget.
• Provide regular reports on the return on investment (ROI) of marketing initiatives.
• Work closely with production, distribution, and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to market.
• Partner with finance and operations teams to ensure alignment on pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
• Liaise with external agencies, vendors, and partners to optimize marketing efforts.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in sales and marketing, preferably within the beverage, food, or FMCG industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, distribution channels, and marketing strategies within the beverage industry.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and other partners.
• Experience with market research, consumer insights, and competitor analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and CRM software.
• Ability to travel as required for sales meetings, conferences, and events.
• Ability to develop long-term sales and marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Capable of managing and mentoring a high-performing team.
• Ability to analyze sales trends and marketing metrics to optimize performance.
• Expertise in negotiating contracts and deals with clients and partners.
• Ability to think outside the box in developing campaigns and promotional strategies.
