JOB DETAILS:

The purpose of the Project Manager is to 1) lead the planning, and implementation (planting) of the project; 2) ensuring that all the project deliverables are completed on time and within budget; 3) lead and manage a multidisciplinary project team

Tasks & Responsibilities
• Formulates the project plan, in accordance with the project objectives; specifies the timelines of the project, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment, and quality standards to be used
• Lead the project team, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress to ensure alignment with project goals

• Manage all the operations within the project i.e planting agroforestry system, nurseries, selling Coffee/Coaco
• Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, takes corrective actions when necessary, and generates adequate reporting

• Ensures high-quality data production & database maintenance to ensure project compliance with the designated standards

• Ensures appropriate communication between implementation team members to ensure success, efficiency, and  risk mitigation
• Works collaboratively with implementation teams and BCCP partner colleagues
• Maintain good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including global team members, partners, industry regulators, government departments, and other third-party organizations

• Regularly update stakeholders on project status, changes, and critical decisions through reports and meetings.
• Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement of the overall system and continuously test & put forward improvement suggestions

Requirements
• 5–10 years of experience  managing projects and operations, preferably in [the agriculture sector/ industry sector].
• Must be highly skilled in process management, preferably in a fast-growing business
• Proven track record of managing and scaling up projects/operations from inception to completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Must have strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Must have strong analytical capacity with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work remotely and independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Must have a Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Must be able to build good relationships with large numbers of stakeholders
• Willing to travel to potentially remote locations in-country
• Fluent in English and at least 1 other local language spoken within the project area
• Experience in an international organization is a plus
• good local cultural awareness and sensitivity
