Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocat ed funds to be used for Upgrade of Obsolete Programable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for Spillway Gates - Isimba HPP. Kayunga.

The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above Supplies.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open international Bidding method procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, CAP 205 as amended, and Regulations 2023 and is open to all bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at (7) from 9:00am-4:00pm.

The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by in- terested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at (7) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be in the bank on Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited, Stanbic Bank, Operations A/C No. 9030011177319 upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) at before 10:00am of Friday 1" November, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 14,000,000/- (Uganda Shillings Fourteen Million only)
The Bid Security must be valid until 27 May, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (7) at 10:20am, 1" November, 2024.

Bidders are advised to send qualified & experienced technical representatives to a site. During site visit. representatives should come with basic PPE such as a hard hat, safety boots and a reflector jacket. "The site visit will be held on Friday 11th October, 2024 at Isimba HPP, Kayunga at 11:00am.
