Position: Project Coordinator

Reports: Country Manager

Company: Veracity Energies Uganda Limited is looking for a resource to do a task of project coordinator for our office in Kampala.

· Achieving project deliverables to agreed deadlines and milestones to the required standards and targets within budget.

· Recommending and delivering innovative process improvement activities across project business processes and systems to ensure a high standard of project development.

· Coordinate and loop for cooperate projects from different companies and stakeholders to win a project.

· • Establish performance outcomes and measures for key project goals

· Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of solar energy systems like irrigation systems, Solar Street projects and cooperate projects.

· The main goal of this role is to maximize efficiency in implementing project plans, keeping track of goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies.

· Review, comment on, and negotiate project change orders.

· Assist clients in the project development and project management of renewable energy projects throughout the project life cycle – from negotiation, winning the project until completion.

· Establish and review construction budgets, maintain construction schedules, review work scopes, and review and respond to all project queries.

· Coordinate external bidding process required to procure goods and services necessary for all phases of project execution, including preparation of bid packages, evaluation of proposals, contract negotiations, and recommendations on behalf of senior management.

Qualifications and experience

3 years’ experience in project development and marketing in a reputable company

Experience in sales of Solar energy

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing, Electrical engineering or any other related course.
