There are 2 positions available.
The shift pattern for position 1 is 0600-0900 Mon-Fri (3hrs per day).
The shift pattern for position 2 is 1630-2000 Mon-Thu (3.5hrs per day) & 1630-1930 Fri (3hrs).
The aim of this role is to provide a quality domestic service to the hospital or CHP premises, ensuring that a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors following agreed cleaning work schedules, methods and procedures in accordance with NHS Scotland National Cleaning Specification and Healthcare Acquired Infection (HAI) Task Force Code of Practice. Domestics are required to rotate round all Wards Clinical areas and departments within hospital. Candidate may also be required to provide a food and beverage service for patients in adherence with Food Safety Regulations.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
