Job Summary
M31 Research is seeking experienced Education Consultants to join our team in Uganda. We are looking for professionals with a strong background in working with international organisations such as UNICEF, USAID, and World Bank. The ideal candidates will have expertise in conducting Education Assessments, Evaluations in Uganda

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in education assessments, evaluations, and research projects within Uganda, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs that meet the needs of our clients.
- Provide technical assistance and advisory support to international organisations, government agencies, and other stakeholders in designing, implementing, and evaluating education programmes.
- Develop and review project proposals, technical reports, and other documentation related to education interventions, with a focus on improving access, equity, and quality of education.
- Conduct data analysis and interpret findings to guide education policy development and programme decisions.
- Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, educators, government officials, and donors, to ensure the relevance and impact of education initiatives.
- Stay current with the latest trends, research, and best practices in education, particularly as they pertain to the Ugandan context.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Master’s or PhD in Education, Educational Psychology, Public Policy, or a related field.
- A minimum of seven years of professional experience in the education sector, with significant experience working with international organisations such as UNICEF, USAID, or other major donors.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting education assessments, evaluations, and providing technical assistance in Uganda.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating education programmes, with a focus on achieving measurable improvements in access, equity, and learning outcomes.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
- Familiarity with data collection tools and methodologies relevant to education evaluations.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
