BlueForce Inc. is seeking a Geospatial Mapping Senior Specialty Trainer in support of Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) in Jinja, Uganda.

General Tasks and Responsibilities:
The general tasks include but are not limited to:
- Plan, design, and conduct training of Survey and Geospatial Mapping Capacity for identifying, generating, commanding, and controlling units that are preparing to deploy to a peacekeeping operation
- Develop staff’s ability to produce digital and printed geospatial products to support missions and training exercises.
- Coordinate arrangements with the staff to serve as primary instructors and facilitators of the training.
- Demonstrate understanding of geospatial and survey technical concepts, terms, and data generation.
- Demonstrate ability to explore and analyze geospatial mapping data using GIS analysis software and technology, including proficiency in its associated enterprise.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage geodatabases.
- Demonstrated ability to create maps, images, and other products.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual survey and topography techniques, including the use of unmanned aerial survey instruments.
- Proficiency to organize survey teams, conducting surveys, and create/reproduce high-quality and accurate geospatial and topographic maps for use in a peacekeeping mission.
Demonstrated proficiency integrating geospatial and survey capabilities in a meaningful way to enable peacekeeping commanders and their staffs to better visualize their areas of operation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten (10) years U.S. or foreign military experience, including service after September 11, 2001.
- Demonstrated understanding of geospatial and survey technical concepts, terms, and data generation.
- Demonstrated ability to explore and analyze geospatial mapping data using GIS analysis software and technology, including proficiency in its associated enterprise (i.e., software updates, licensing, data reproduction and management, and printers).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage geodatabases.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual survey and topography techniques, including the use of unmanned aerial survey instruments.
