We are seeking a Sales Specialist with strong B2B sales experience in a fast-paced, client-focused, and relationship-oriented business environment to join our team in Uganda.
The Role
Why it’s important: This role will be necessary for client acquisitions, retention and driving Business growth strategy at BMU. You will be responsible for massive client prospecting, pipeline development, client relationship management and revenue target attainment in line with the monthly and annual business targets.
Who you will work with: This role is part of the Sales Operations team and you will be reporting to the Head of Sales. In addition to working with the core team, you will also engage with other team members in Recruitment, Customer Service, Operations, and marketing.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Must have 2-3 years of proven experience as a Field sales specialist or Relationship manager dealing with Corporations,NGOs, SMEs, and Institutional sales.
- Great Relationship Management skills i.e. you are great at communication and have the aptitude to work with a diverse client base.
- Experience working in the B2B service industry OR with a Recruitment or HR Consulting firm is an added advantage.
- A good understanding of the different industries within the market and the current trends within each industry
- Strong organizational, oral & written communication skills
- Experience with managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional proven sales performance.
- The ability to plan and prioritize own work under tight timelines, as well as to work on own initiative and as a member of a team. This involves long-term planning and clear instructions.
- Highly experienced in handling sales negotiations.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- High intelligence and problem-solving skills.
- Very flexible and quick to adapt to dynamic situations..
- Ability to draw insights and act strategically based on data.
- A High Curiosity Quotient.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- New Client Acquisition - Acquire new clients by contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings to explore business opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management - Initiate client engagement through cold calling, email marketing and in-person meetings to close business opportunities.
- Pipeline Management - Develop and maintain 3x pipeline volume with the right product mix to guarantee MOM revenue attainment. Managing the full pipeline conversion cycle with aggression and utmost precision with a focus on achieving monthly targets.
- Client Research - Research organizations to identify if they are the right client fit for the business and if they have any needs that align with what is offered. This will also help them understand their buying Patterns and Trends.
- Account Management - Set realistic expectations with clients to increase the value provided at any given time and draw plans for continuous engagement every month.
- Revenue Attainment - Attain MOM revenue targets set by the business and manage the pipeline to ensure minimal fluctuations in revenue attainment.
- Professional Networking - Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events that are relevant to the organization to cultivate business relationships, widen networks get insight into industry trends.
- Goal Setting - Developing your individual goals, key results, and initiatives that guide your activities toward the achievement of the set revenue and pipeline targets.
