Job Summary
Leceny Equipment ltd a sole authorized distributor of Shacman trucks and Sunward heavy equipment and machinery in East Africa is seeking for experienced and results-driven Heavy Truck Sales Representative to join our team in Uganda.
- Minimum Qualification : Diploma
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 1 year
Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales:
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for dump trucks, tractor heads, trailers among other machinery and equipment.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and markets
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
2. Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and applications.
3. Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
4. Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports
- Manage sales pipeline and follow up with leads
5. Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams i.e. after sale services, spare parts & finance to ensure seamless customer experience
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
-Pro sales experience in the automotive or heavy equipment industry is an added advantage
-Relevant Education qualification in market business mechanical engineering.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
-Strong product knowledge and ability to learn new products quickly
-Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
-Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with heavy truck industry, market trends, and customer needs
