JOB PURPOSE:
The SDR will be pivotal in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential clients. As an SDR, you will be the prospects' initial point of contact, effectively articulating our Technology consulting services and building a strong sales pipeline.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
KRA 1: Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
- Conduct outbound lead generation activities such as prequalification, cold calling 2.0, email outreach, and personalized messaging to nurture prospects.
- Developing & running social media and other prospecting strategies
KRA 2: Qualification & Needs Analysis.
- Engage with prospects to understand their Technology challenges, needs, and objectives.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and prioritize opportunities for the sales team.
KRA 3: Sales Growth
- Initiate strategic partnerships and business opportunities to enhance the company's market presence.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth areas and target markets.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, and address inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Analyse sales data and marketing metrics to evaluate performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Plan and participate in industry-specific trade shows, conferences, and events to showcase services and network with potential clients.
Job-Related Experience and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven ability to successfully manage sales and marketing teams in a similar industry and generate increased sales revenue.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business.
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles, techniques, and best practices in the technology consulting industry.
- Strong understanding of regional and international markets.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and innovative skills; ability to see opportunities and translate them into sales.
- Experience with using an e-government procurement portal is a plus
- Relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong leadership skills and ability to successfully work as a team member.
