Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Degree, postgraduate or diploma in any discipline but preferable qualifications in Marketing, IT, Economics, Business and social Sciences
- Minimum of three years proven marketing Experience in Information Technology (IT)
- Have a wider knowledge of computer and internet operations.
- Self-directed, keen to details, multi-tasking skills and confidence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and networking ability
- A team player who is able to work well in an energetic, dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to travel far and wide.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times;
- A team player, and one who is open to feedback and on-going self-development;
- IT skills with minimum experience in using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of the Information Technology (IT) marketplace.,
- Demonstrated experience in Marketing IT and related items
- Strong Marketing skills, including internal reporting,
- Demonstrated experience in developing processes to obtain leads through comparison and evaluation of possible sourcing opportunities;
- Experience in positions requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment
- Proven ability to achieve goals;
- Demonstrated earnings history,a passion for sales and or Marketing as a Profession
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and secure potential clients through direct and digital marketing and meetings.
- Understanding the Product and Customer profile and write thorough specs for each requirement
- Create innovative ways to build business from individual accounts.
- Work with sales team to identify opportunities for new markets and growth.
- Perform up-selling and cross-selling of products to clients.
- Conduct effective Product presentation for potential customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer queries/issues in a timely manner.
- Preparation of Bids/Tender Documents and or Quotations.
- Effect timely deliveries to Clients and debt collection.
- Researching new market opportunities
- Researching new product areas for the company
- Conducting market research on rival products/ services and evaluate competition
- Conducting market research to assess customer preferences and understand project requirements and objectives
- Any other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned to you from time to time.
