Job Title: Driver
Duty Station: Kampala - Uganda
Terms of Employment: Permanent

Job Summary:
A reputable Organisation is looking for 10 Professional Drivers with the following Minimum Requirements:
1. Minimum age: 25-35 Years

2. Minimum requirements:
• Ugandans holding a minimum of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent from a recognized University.
• A valid Driving License with validity of minimum code of B, C1 and C. Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50).
• A clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.

3. Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Team work.
• Integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Flexibility.
• Ability to communicate in fluent English. (Knowledge of Kiswahili, French, and Arabic will be an added advantage).
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. rush hour).

• Availability to occasionally work over the weekends and/or night shifts.

• Familiarity with smart driving technologies e.g. the GPS.
• A smart and professional disposition.

4. Work experience:
• Preferably a minimum of five (05) years of proven driving experience.

5. Duties:
Responsible to the Head of Transport Department, performing the following duties:
• Drive the vehicle as may be required or instructed by the supervisor.
• Ensure the safety and security of the vehicle.
• Report to the Head of Transport when the equipment need repair or is due for servicing.
• Keep the vehicle clean and tidy at all times.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
