We are looking to hire experienced personnel to work as a host/hostess/waiter/waitress

The host/hostess/waiter/waitress with a charming personality will prepare the menu, wait and serve customers with a smile, ensuring that customers have a satisfying dining experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1 year relevant work experience.
  • Self-motivated team player, able to multi-task and adapt to new situations quickly and effectively.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and a structured approach to work.
  • An innovative, self-starting problem solver with a ‘can-do attitude. Passion for learning, and keen and able to continuously improve oneself.
  • Excellent communicator with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  •  High integrity and strong character.

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • To actively drive sales, recruit new customers, retain existing customers and increase the ASPC (average sales per customer) and bring in sales.
  • To maintain proper records of all work done and materials used to support effective bookkeeping and accounting.
  • To ensure adherence to all applicable standards and policies including internal operational manuals, hygiene, health & safety, KCCA, and UNBS standards. Standards must be upheld all day, every day.
  • Decorate high-quality products, right-first-time to avoid losses due to repeat work, or refunds to dissatisfied customers.
  • To develop and continuously maintain quality standards in serving and waiting.
  • To maintain the highest standards of Hygiene, Health, and Safety in all aspects of work.
  • To promptly address any customer complaints and put measures in place to avoid repeat incidents that may lead to customer complaints.
  • To proactively share knowledge and train colleagues on wine and spirits techniques.
  • To work proactively with team members to resolve problems that may affect achieving the Company's objectives.
  • To comply with Company policies and immediately report or escalate any incidents of breaches of integrity that may come to your attention.
  • To conduct yourself with the highest levels of integrity in everything that you do, both at work and outside work.
