Context:

Product control department insure the post-trade control processes for the Gas trading activity at Engie. By insuring the alignment between the contractual terms Vs the booking and by managing the day to day contract lifecycle (closing, invoicing, counterparties point of contract…)

The team members are the single point of contact for the counterparties, the financial department and the FOs for the contract management.

We are looking for an apprentice for one year contract.

The job is based in La Défense (Engie Power).

Role:

• You will support the product control team members in charge of natural gas contracts by taking charge of the production of reports (customs reports, verification of volumes and prices with the group entities...)
• You will participate in the closing and invoicing phases
• You will automate and document
• You will automate the reports currently produced manually in Excel files using VBA, Phyton, PowerBI...
• You will update the process documentation

Hard skills:

• You have a good knowledge of trading activities, if they are related to the energy market, this will be a plus
• You know how to use VBA, Phyton, POWERBI.... development tools
• You are comfortable with the digital tools Outlook/Team/Excel/Power BI

Soft skills:

• You are well organized and proactive
• You are solution oriented
• You have the ability to perform tasks proactively, reliably and accurately with limited supervision
• You are able to withstand pressure

Education and professional background:

• You are preparing a Master degree on finance(Market or corporate)
• You have a first experience or a good knowledge on Market finance

Languages:

• You have a very good level of English.
