To reinforce Ibero’s ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a:

Chief Security Officer (m/f/d)

The position will be based in Kampala and will report directly to the Country Manager of Ibero Uganda.

Your Responsibilities

The Chief Security Officer will organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures
• Recruiting, training, and supervising security officers and guards
• Monitoring & managing daily security activities within the company
• Coordinating staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Reviewing reports and watching surveillance videos
• Investigating and resolving issues
• Creating reports for management on security status
• Analyzing data to form proposals for improvements
• Controlling budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
• Head the security team, delegate tasks, and facilitate interdepartmental communication within the organization to ensure efficient cooperation.

Your Profile

• High School Diploma, further education in security administration or similar field is an asset.
• Proven experience as security manager or similar position
• Excellent leadership, communication skills and outstanding reliability
• Computer literacy
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• English (Fluent) / Luganda useful
• High Integrity
• Collaborative skills.
