The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Communication Consultant.
The Position: The consultant will work with the interdisciplinary social science team to consolidate key findings and develop communication materials (blogs, briefs) to a wider audience in the agriculture and development sectors for greater visibility and impact in sub- Saharan Africa.
Key responsibilities:
• A blog on youth videos
• An outcome story on gender and pest & disease management
• A brief on gender, seed systems and marketing (the targeted audience = seed companies)
• A blog on triple S
Selection Criteria
• At least a master’s in journalism, communication or related field • At least 10 years of relevant experience in writing articles and copy editing • Experience in working with international organizations
• Advanced written and oral communication skills in English.
